Hey I have a question for some of the Fitness girls out there. I have been thinking about entering fitness or figure competitions next spring. My problem is overwhelming cravings. I can work out with the best of them. I just can not seem to get control of my diet. I'll tell myself no don't eat that, but the next thing I know I am scarfing down a hugh plate of food. & I am a carboholic so that is never good. Then after I eat it I feel guilty as hell. I know I am not the only one who has this problem. How do you control it? I don't care I'll take drugs, suplements, listen to words of wisdom. I just need to get control of it. Also, another question. I am about 5'6 and 132 lbs. I am guessing my body fat to be around 17%. What do you gals usually get your body fat down to for competition. The last time I was tested I was 15.1% and weighed 117lbs I think I looked pretty lean then. Plus, is it really healthy for a woman to get there body fat that low?
You are going to have to eat six meals. Eat your balance of carbs after morning cardio and after lifting in the morning or afternoon. It sounds like you are binge eating. You didn't give us any diet info. 17% is ok for of contest.
I know several girls who get down to 7% and look great. It depends on your body. Some girls are big ol cows at 17%. I seriously doubt that anyone at 17% is going to be considered too low.

Well I sure hope that I am not a big fat cow. I wear a size 4 for gods sake. & 17% is low for a woman. These women that you know that get there body fat so low, I am curious if it causes them some womens issues. Because women will not even start there cycle in there teens until their body fat reaches a certian level.

Yes, you called it right out there Katz. I am a horrible binger. It started in school when I was competiting in gynastic's. I will not eat anything all day long and then in the evening just go nuts. I am however going to really try and clean it up. I am gonna really cut my carb intake even if it kills me and it just might. I plan to start eating more small means during the day and see if maybe that will help my from going nuts at night. Do you have any suggestions as to what to eat? What carbs if any are ok to eat? And what should I avoid at all costs?
Fish, chicken, Steak. Rice is a good source for carbs, but rice crispy treats are not. :bump
It will be easyer for us to help with ALOT of pictures of you. 🙂
Katz would never let us see her and now she's 300lbs at 4'9" so it will help LOL

OH good idea!!!
I got U-Turn and Detour bars for the chocolate cravings. If a choc. protein shake doesn't work I just nibble on one of those.
I like Detour bars, but Steelheart is not a fan of them. I did find one that she likes though Muscle Sandwich.
