i have read that taking zma before bed helps you sleep but have never read as to why this is could someone plz enlighten me
It's the Magnesium. Mag. alone will do the trick but when it is coupled with calcium it can be a great sleep aid. Adding some melatonin would be great.
:nono taking melotonin on a regular basis is not a good idea because it is a hormone and your body will create an immunity to it. if you use sleeping aids, be sure to not stay on one for too long. switch them up about every week. you may want to try natural things, like drinking 12 ounces of milk an hour before you even start getting ready for bed. you could also try playing soft music to put you to sleep. the milk and music is what i do.
thanx for the info guys i would rather not take any sleep aid if possible that is why i asked about the zma since they are natural and something my body could us anyway

I have my wife for that,but after we are done she always falls asleep and i stay a wake wanting more lol
My powerlifting coach who was like a nationaly champ at the age of 20 says that zma is very good pro/hormone. He says to take it before going to bed and he says it is scientfical proven to work unlike NO EXPLOde-creatine and other such suplements i am going to go on ZMA cause i really think it will work if he says it will

zma is no a prohoromone, it is perfectly legal. ZMA is well worth it, give it a try and let us know how you like it. I know that there are some company's that I need to take more than the recomended dosages to get the benifit but i still love the stuff.

Now im jsut oging off the top of my head, but I thought that you werent supposed to injest calcium close to when you took the ZMA...as I thought it interfered with the magnesium. or something along those lines. Id have to read up on it, but i thought the two together were a no no.
