Over the years the one thing I always have had difficulty with is a finding a training partner......It seems impossible to find one with the same training schedule and regimen as me.....I would be interested in hearing how some of u folks found your partners....also do u feel it's even necessary to train with some one at all? I know 4 me it has been difficult breaking plateaus on my own.....when I see other guy's training with there Bro's they get all that good support and encouragement........I always felt it was necessary.....what are your thoughts?

Sometimes it's hard to "click" with someone. I've gone thru several training partners and they all had the same out come. They'd get lazy and only show when they felt like it and then would be working a differant body part.

So npw I train bymyself and if I go heavy I just ask someone for a spot!

well luckily me n' my friend started lifting out together and we're both basically the same when it comes to availability and physicality... in my very limited newbie-ish experience n' logic w/ lifting, i'd say its very good to have a partner for the determination/support and spot, but obviously one is not necessarily needed. but definately a positive.... only way to get a partner if you don't really know anyone, is jus to use patience at the gym and perhaps an oppurtunity will come by :\

Took a very long time to find a good partner- especially since I powerlift>> hard to find someone with those goals & training regiment too.. Luckily, I found a private gym runby an ex-Westside guy who has all the equipment/knowledge/desire/etc.. to powelrift. great place to grow & learn. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My training partner and I were doing awesome and then he moved. I got another one, and we were doing great but he met this girl.............and you can guess where this is going. Been getting a lot of those comments like, "man, sorry i couldn't be there yesterday, but I hit it pretty hard by myself. Well that's nice and all, but its all about what you want I guess. Priorities, Priorities.............

I really have never trained with a partner myself, though there are times that I wished that I did. Actually a few bro's at my gym are doing the same program that I am, so occasionally if were in the gym at the same time, I'll jump in and train with them. But like alot of guys have said already, its very hard to find a partner that you just click with

That pretty much sums up my experiences with training partners too. In fact my most recent one who I had been training with for about 7 months hasn't shown up in a few days so I'm thinking its back to going solo for me. It's a combination of a few different things but it basically came down to him not showing up when he said he would and then when he would show up - he was just going through the motions. He also completed his first cycle and I think hes disappointed about the fact that he didn't turn into HHH within the first week like the thought he would LOL! Not to mention he didn't use any clomid or anything else after so he crashed pretty hard and lost alot of weight and strength. Its not like I didn't warn him but he kinda stopped listening to my advice near the end and now he's sorry. Oh well - I've actually been having better workouts by myself the last few days so its not gonna break my stride. I still have my MP3 player and thats the best partner a guy can have cause its always there and always ready to rock!
