Hey Bailey you do not need all sorts of fancy equipment etc to make gains. If you've got the basics ie benches, racks for squats etc, a few basic machines/cables, as well as a full line of dumbbells, and lots of free weight then you've got all that you need.

The exercises needed to build a huge physique are the basics like deadlifts, squats, presses, rows etc, so really it all falls upon you to put the basics to work. I remember thinking that it would be great to have Hammer etc at my disposal to really push the gains, but in reality the truely big MOFOs don't use this stuff much and stick with hitting the free weights.

Personally neither QOD or I much care for Hammer or most other machines and just stick with the tried and true free weights.

Bump to that. Seems like motivation might be a factor with you as well. Read the magazines, buy some pro bodybuilding videos, and get on here to find information and also to keep you on track and psyched for your training and attaining your goals. It can be tough to stay focused when you don't have people around you that have the same goals that you do. That's why it's good to have resources like AZ so you can see that there are others out there who are on the same page. Good luck with your training, Bailey.

yes sir.....very true. I go to Golds...its 24/7 which is very nice. I know making it there can be a real pain in the ass sometimes if its not open all the time. I used to go to one of those back when I was in HS. Its tough when you have to work....got to school....ect....and still make it. But if you have the motivation thats all you need bro.

I also wanna bump Buff on the idea of watching a pro BBing video. If that doesn inspire you I dont know what will.....seriously you dont understand how freakish they really are until you see them in motion.

Jacked
