Well my buddy competes also and he knows someone that was back stage I believe right before pre-judging though I'm not sure what show it was for. Anyways, the biggest men in the world were throwing down all kinds of garbage food right before the show....doughnuts, pizza, fries....you name it. Just not so much to make you bloated but enough to restore the glycogen levels. He also said that the night before the show they crave like this from 7-10pm. This fills up all your glycogen back to normal once you had depleted carbs for the entire week. And you come in looking dense and hard as hell. His show is in a week and a half so I will keep everyone informed on how it worked out for him. Personally, I don't think I'd have the balls to pig out the night before the show but he does. He's not a rookie either...he's done 3 shows already and he's a personal trainer. I was scared just to load up on carbs...this dude is taking it to another level. Though he did say all he's eating for the week before is turkey....thats it....no carbs whatsoever. I thought some of you BBing pros may find this interesting.

C-ya,

I showed up a little flat for pre-judging in my show, so after I had a large pizza with little water, and showed up to the night show looking full and vascular... if you limit your water intake, you should be alright.

Well BigKap you definitely have some balls too!! lol I'm going to try this if my friend comes in looking hard and vascular. As you know timing is to critical for a show so this kind of threw me a little curveball...obviously there's a science to being in top condition maybe this is just another way come in top shape.
I'll post some pics of him when he's all done. I'm really interested in seeing how this works.

I must say that eating two chocolate bunnies and a gallon of milk DOES NOT do a body good!!! lol That was me after a competition last yr. Puked!!! lol Little too much filling for the body to take.
I'm sure Reps will be hitting the Kryspy Kreme doughnuts soon!!!
Dude, if you're 215 in the offseason you better scan a pic and show everyone on this board what "bulking up" looks like. You sure know how to take in those calories!! lol
Later Bro,

i quote lee priest..

no more chicken breasts and no more rice. there will be chicken and it will be kentucky and there will be rice and it will be fried.. can't wait to change it around"

you can still eat the basics for building muscle ..just cook them differently. he he.

if you live by these principles you could just put on 15 pounds of muscle in year like i did. not fat just pure muscle. (i know because my weight at two shows a year apart.)

Huge BUMP for the Priest. Here's another one:
"How is it that 1,800 people in the arena have the placings right, but the 5 down front fuck it up!!!" That one my be my personal favorite. It may not be word for word but its damn close.
That cracked my ass up. Guys if you haven't seen "The Blonde Myth" I highly suggest it. I've seen all the pros in action and nobody blew my mind like Lee....the man is truly a freak. There isn't one bodypart that doesn't look cartoonish. Its much better than seeing him in a magazine.
