Just watched the NANBF Mr./Ms Natural Illinois competition today. There were some really good looking physiques up there, some not so good looking.

I would like to compete some day, but I want to be sure that I won't take anything that would ban me. I have been to the NANBF site and seen the banned substances. I didn't see creatine on there, so I'm guessing it's okay to take....anyone know for sure? Also wanted to ask about the new vasodilators out there like NO2. Does anyone know if these are allowed?

On another note, has anyone tried NO2 or other brands of the vasodilators and how were the results?....also, there are a lot of new creatines out there. What does everyone like, and how were your results.

I'm looking to take something to battle summertime weight loss.

thanks

Yeah, you can take all the creatine you want. The only stuff that'll get ya in trouble you can find in the Controlled Substances Act of '92. All other supplements are out of your system in a few hours, sometimes days.

Your question on NO2,does it work. No, for building muscle mass.Yes, for helping with your recovery time during workout.Save your money.Buy a good Protein,Creatine Monohydrate and get some Glutamine.Train heavy and get plenty of protein from beef and chicken and eggs. Good luck, Lewis.

To Lewis's comment...If NO2 doesn't work for adding mass, but increases recovery time, wouldn't that essentially lead to better growth. Just a thought. I haven't really heard much about the supplement to toute its effectiveness. Any others used NO2 with good results? I would think most of it would just get broken down by the digestive system and maybe just contrict your gut, since NO is used by the body in various amounts as a chemical messanger in cyclic GMP, which promotes vasodialtion in the circulation in response to high blood pressure, but it is quickly broken down in the body. It's vasodialatory effects are very brief. So if you're taking it through the mouth, and into the stomach I would think it would just cause vasodialation in the stomach and intestines. Thoughts?

Yes Gemster your right, thats basically all NO2 has shown to do is help with Vasodiation in the circulation in response to high blood pressure.Ok it also helps in the sex department. But we do have better things like Viagara.Yes helping with recovery time is very important when trying to build quality muscle, but if you don't eat and supplement properly before and after training recovery time means little. That's why you see so many guys spinning there wheels in the gym. It's not there training, some it is?that's keeping them from growing. It's what they're doing before and after, that's doing it. Good Luck, Lewis.

NO2, I can do without. I say this because of two reasons. One, its expensive for the results, one bottle will not cut it. B, it really doesnt work to well, I got a pump or two but its as if creatine was working better for me at the time. I have not used creatine for a while because it makes me feel sick, but, the number one creatine my friends are raving over is swole v.2 by syntrax or san v12. They love it, its a little expensive! 😎

I used NitrO2 for three months and I didnt get a thing from it except 8, dry heaves a day. Ive been off it for about 3 weeks now and I notice no difference in recovery time. That stuff didnt do a thing for me except choke the shit out of me. Huge pills let me tell ya and expensive, yeah. 90 bones for a 23 day supply.
