Here's an example of what one day might look like during a time when I wasn't being super restirictive.

6:30am
3eggs, 2 egg whites
1.5 cups oats
3 fish oil caps

8:30
3scoops protein powder
1tbsp flax oil
1cup cottage cheese

11:30
3scoops protein powder
1tbsp flax oil

1:30
whole wheat pasta
lean ground turkey

3:30
1cup oats
2scoops protein powder

5:00
ground turkey

7:30
salmon patty sandwich on whole wheat toast
1 chicken breast

9:30
3 scoops protein powder
1tbsp flax oil
1cup cottage cheese
3fish oil caps.

this comes to about 4400 kcal. 477grams of protein, 306 grams of carbs, and 140grams of fat. I felt very good eating this way, and haven't yet crapped out a kidney or my liver. During these periods I wouldn't drop fat quickly, but seemed to slowly drop body fat and maintain my muscle while improving in the gym. i guess if anyone wants to know what it's like to "eat like a 300lb'er" we can all look here.

I saw a thread about this guy on another forum and it was when he was at his biggest, I said that I didnt particularly like the way he looked but did say that he would look great if he stripped all that fat off him and he does!

I'm not THAT bothered about gaining fat, but when you're losing the battle of muscle v fat and it's swinging towards the latter then it does bother me.

he's obviously kept muscle gain way ahead of fat gain and that is something that I've struggled to do thus far and I'm hoping that DC training can turn it around.

just wondering about his diet and his protein intake - he says he takes 11 scoops of whey a day (going on what was said in the posted diet) - so say that's 11 scoops, with each scoop at 30 grams, with 25 grams of that being whey protein = 275 grams. so that means he's getting 200 grams of protein from food.

I'm just curious how much of your protein intake comes from whey?

I try to keep whey at a minimum. I might have a 1/2 - 1 scoop of protein per meal, just to throw in the extra protein, but I feel like I've gotten my best gains when I ate real foods (meat, cottage cheese, eggs, etc.) for my meals instead of protein powder. Back in high school, I was hooked on whey protein, yet never gained anything. Maybe I was working out too hard (overtraining) and not getting enough food in, but my body responds best to protein coming from real foods.

Don't get me wrong, whey protein has its place in PWO and casein is good during the day, but for some reason, I just don't favor powders now for some reason.

Just my .02

Definition comes fast, fullness and pumped looking comes fast, but legitimate muscle mass comes hard and slowly. I see too many people that fill they glycogen stores and think they gained a ton of muscle so they can start a new definition diet, sorry it doesn´t work that way
