I use the Cissus - it rocks and it does indeed have glucose tolerance enhancement effects.
I think Jinx would agree with me, that neither of us saw excess aggression or anxiety from its use.

Thanks trouble. Could you be more specific on the glucose tolerance effects? Also, I have not noticed any of the aggression or anxiety that some report of either. One person did report some bloat from cissus though....
Anxiety....?
hmmm I wonder if it is related....I'll stop taking it for a couple of days and see...interesting.
Is cissus considered an adaptogen? Some adaptogens have that property with me, it increases "edginess"
A little update.
I had my second treatment. ART is fantastic, when people "swear by" the system, I always thought it to be an exaggeration. Not so. After the first treatment the tenderness was gone. Not lifting quality yet but at least I can sleep on my side.
After the third treatment (Monday) I will go back to the gym for some light work but possibly no pressing yet.
I still don't know if Cissus is causing the recent bout of anxiety. 3 days without, anxiety is still there. So may re-introduce in the upcoming days.
yea, ART is really great. Anything that you can do for your soft tissue is a plus.
What is Cissus? Everyone on this board talks about it.

Hi Pat,
Cissus quadrangularis is an ayurvedic (ancient/traditional system on medicine in India) herb.
From CNW's website:
Cissus quadrangularis is an adaptogenic herb from India containing bio-active saponins, and has been used for hundreds of years and shown in numerous clinical studies to speed the healing of bone fractures and dramatically reduce joint inflammation and pain. Because CQ has anabolic ketosterols, it is now included in many body building and pro-Testosterone supplements that promote lean muscle mass
You'd have to search to see what kind of results people are getting.

Oh ye of little faith.
ART is the closest thing I know of to magic..painful magic at times, but magic.
under the armpit in the subscap. I have that done alot, but it hasnt been that bad being it is a secondary inflammation. Right now the Rhomboids and spinal erectores are all sorts of whacked. FInally got rid of the impingement in my shoulders and the real problem seems to have surfaced. Its amazing how the body compensates for injury. Overall i am really happy with the results so far. I managed to paint a catherdral ceiling with a extended roller and not go home crying. All because i did a ART treatment in my shoulders and wrists prior. The next day i was shot but i helped my pops and made some cash so it was all good for me. Overall inflammation in the biggest problem in my book. Controlling the inflammation and promoting healing is the best overall results after the ART itself.

One of the most painful parts of the treatment...but, tell you what, it is working. It's not tender to the touch anymore...
