What are your opinions on weight gainers?I'm 200 pounds and not looking to put on weight.I get all the proteins and carbs i need.Just wondering if im not getting all the caloric intake i need to put on mass, would a weight gainer help?

I'm almost done my 10lbs bucket of weight gainer and can't wait to finish it. I think most of them contain way too much useless sugar. Makes me crash big time after my shake. I'll be making my own weight gainer from now on using a good quality whey powder and I'll add bananas, natural peanut butter, yogurts etc.

You contradicted your self. If you want to grow increase your protein & carbs. This will increase your calories. If you have a hard time getting enough real food than supplement with shakes. I prefer to add fruit to my regular shakes rather than get the gainers.:lift

I have used weight gainer before. I work construction and im physical alllllllll day. My boss allows one break. So the only answer i could think of was to carry around a jug of weight gainer with me.. 1200 calories that i will suck down throughout the day. Not all at once..but slowly. It helped..but i didnt use it as meal or any replacement for a meal. just as a filler in between to keep the calories up.

Just have to watch out.. alot of the weight gainers have alot of sugar in them.

I didnt care to much about the sugar as i would burn more calories i could eat all day.

Advice: dont work construction.. if you do..dont be on the bottom.. be someone who is in charge haha.

I worked it out now with my boss to be able to stop and eat for 5 mins every 2.5 hours throughout the day.

so its all good now and i dont need the weight gainer anymore.

try TRUE-MASS by BSN..this one is one of the best I have found.630kcals per serving.76 grms carbs.46 grams protien with 14 grams of sugar.Very easy to mix and easy on the digestive system.Has 6 different types of protien for sustained release and digestion.I have tried them all and this one is by far the best I have tried.

If you are getting all the protein and carbs you need then why do you need a weight gainer? If you're not looking to put on any weight then why do you need a weight gainer? If you're right where you want to be then just keep doing what you're doing. Stop trying to reinvent the wheel.
