hey guys,
i just got myself a 5 pound bag of on`s 100% whey protein. i have a scoop or two a day with milk or water.
now bout two hours after ive had the protein, i cant seem to stop passing gas :/
is something wrong with me or should i be doing something different or have u guys heard of anyone else this has been happening too ?
most importantly .. does this mean im not digesting the protein properly ? if so then maybe i wont get the gains i hope to get out of the protein ?

It's probly just the way your digestive system responds to whey protien. I'm not sure if it affects the absorbtion but consider yourself lucky, whenever I drink whey protien I get nasty diarrhea for hours. Thats why practically all my protien comes from real food.

lmao... I never really thought about it, but now that you mention it, I think my protein did the same thing to me. I was drinking a shake or two a day at the beginning of my cycle and gradually stopped for various reasons... the flatulants did also, unless they were due to the Dbol... I just try to get my protein from food. Although, I will add that the fruit punch Precision Protein drinks from EAS are the absolute best form of protein I've ever had. It's 20 fl. oz., tastes like Gatorade, has 0g of carbs, no sugar, 170 cals, and 42g of protein! Anyone know how to buy this shit in bulk and not pay $4 per bottle??
when you first start taking whey protein, that will happen. it is normal. you will go back to normal after a while. if it persists for more than a few months, take a multi-enzyme to help the digestion.

Using milk, or water? If with water, try switching Whey brands, you may be lactose-intolerant.
Nah doesn't matter which, I'm pretty sure it's the whey itself. Sucks cause it makes drinking shakes almost not worth it.

i take protein both with water and milk alternatively.and since i am in india i dont really have access to the various products u guys do.
and i just chked. i bought a 10 pound bag .. and it cost me bout 105 usd here in my country... india.
dammit .. first of all we guys are not so rich, what with the currency exchange rate,, then i pay more then double for the protein.. and now it makes me fart 🙂

only thing that hurts really, is times like yesterday when i just had to fart when i was on the treadmill next to this real hot girl ive had my eyes on at the gym :/ . damn protein.
and btw im a vegetarian.. so im going to have to take supplements.. coz veg food just wont cut it for me :/

when I first started using the shakes I could have killed someone. It would kick in pretty quick tho, and they would be those 10 second powerful ones at rapid fire, one after another. It got so bad that at work my boss and my friend knew that I had my shake without seeing me drink it :banme , holy god they were horrible.. but yea your body should adapt. At first I would take 2 scoops at a time, now I just limit it to 1 scoop per shake, and 1, maybe 2 shakes a day. Try to stick to whole foods!
