since protein factory jacked up the price on their protein lines...
are there any similiar places where i can customize while not being broke?

There are tones of internet stores for supps, you just have to shop around.

i use dps and t-nation to buy OptiNutri whey, EAS whey, and Grow whey
but I was looking for a place where i can get something straight protein instead of already formulated with xanthan gums, flavor, coloring, vitamins and all that.
i wonder if proteinfactory is the only place like that?

No not joking. They only have vanilla and chocolate i think. But its cheap.

Yeah. I've used their whey because I had it around and was out of ON Gold Standard...it was fine as far as nutrition and price are concerned, but it made me DOWN RIGHT BLOATED....that cheap protein does that to me
