I'm going to contribute one of the recipes a few of us have been working on: SuperCarb / SesaLean brownies. Of course you can substitute 1/2 cup splenda for the 1 cup of SuperCarb, but you wouldn't be getting the same benifit from splenda as you do from SuperCarb.

1 cup SuperCarb
1/2 cup SesaLean
1/2 cup flour
1 cup WPC
4 egg whites
1 Teaspoon vanilla extract
1/3 cup cocoa powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1 1/2 cup walnuts
1/4 cup water

Any other spinoffs of this recipe appreciated. I've been meaning to try it with applesauce.

Errr... wouldn't you want to use 1/2c of Splenda with 1c of Supercarb? Seeing as how Supercarb is half as sweet as regular sugar and all...

If someone says something about you, and it really bothers you, it's probably because it's true.

Yea, this would be my strategy, but I love the sweets. I'd also replace the flour with whole wheat flour /

I was going to pick up some soy flour and give that a try. I ground up some oats and sub'd some of the flour with that last time - it worked very well.

It's sweet enough for me. without using splenda.

I made these the other day. I used 1/4 cup white flour and 1/4 cup ground oats, 2 whole eggs instead of 4 whites, and 1/2 cup splenda with 3/4 cup supercarb...they turned out a bit dry and not quite sweet enough for me, although they are hitting the spot for my wife when she has her womanly cravings. I'll probably use whole wheat flour itself, 3 whole eggs, and 1 cup splenda with 1/2 cup supercarb next time.

You should have used 1c of Supercarb plus 1/2c of Splenda. Supercarb provides bulk. Splenda has no bulk to it. You can't exchange one for the other.

Some more SesaLean should moisten it up some, in combo with the egg. I can't wait to cook a dish of these. I'll make 12 servings last 10 minutes I'm sure.

Anyone have a guesstimate on the macro breakdown of these?
