Here's an idea for all those people who have very busy lives and not a lot of time to make some good grub!
Get yourself a crock pot, they work wonders.
Put in:
1-2 cups brown rice
1 can black beans/pinto beans
4 cups h20
1 beef broth
1-2 T. worchester sauce
2 T. red wine vinegar (option)
Cook on low for 4-6 hours, and then at the end of the day you have a nice healthy plate of rice and beans.
You can also add some lean roast, cut up sirloin cubes, or chicken to the dish to make your protein source too!
I love doing this when I have to train at the gym until 8:00 or 9:00pm, and then when I come home dinner is already ready.
