I got the medium sized with a bun warmer on top, I have been through at least a couple of hundred of pounds of chicken on that thing. I even take it on the road

Cleaning the grill isn't all that hard. Turn it on and set the timer for about 3 minutes. Then, unplug it, place it over the edge of the sink (so that if you were cooking, the fat would drain into the sink, you only have to get the edge over the sink). Pour hot water onto the grill. Most of the stuff will fall off. Scrape with the fork thingy to get big chunks off, then just use a sponge or paper towel and the rest will come off easy. Of course, if you were stupid and used metal utensils on the grill, you may have scraped off the non-stick surface and you're boned.

I noticed that some of the dry seasoning on the chicken especially will just burn and taste like shit. A good marinade is that Jerk Chicken one. And it is really easy to clean...just wipe it off right after your done cooking with a wet paper towel. I love it because there is no dishes!!!!

oh and putting spices on the chicken/meat makes it yummy. I like tony chachere/garlic salt/spicy montreal steak seasoning.

You must mean the New Braunfels Cookers. Those things are awesome! They recently bought out Okie Joe and are building those too.

I'm a kinda low tech retro guy, so instead of the GF I went to my local restraunt supply and purchased a Lodge cast iron grill pan and steak weight. After seasoning it, I just heat it, brush on some olive oil and go to town.

I like the Tony Cachere products. Just watch the sodium. For tenderizing I use Adolphs. It has papaya extract and no MSG.

This is something I did not know until recently (gee what you learn on day time tv) is never salt your food before cooking. Salt draws the moisture out and makes it tough. Also let anything dry cooked like grilled or roasted meat to rest before cutting so the meat has time to re-absorb the juices.

Can you tell I like to cook?

Brock
