I've read studies both touting it's praises and putting it down, but the later have never had concrete info to back up there allegations..... So I think it's fine.

I recently read a book called the healing power of soy....You should get it....very informative....In all It is a very healthy source of protein.....The only contra indication is the in men it does lower sperm count if consumed in large quantities....4 body building purposes it my not be the best choice.....at least not as your primary source of protein......U should also consider eating meat as well...I suggest fish if red meat is a problem 4 u.....Hope that helps....:)

Well personally I've heard that Soy is good for certain health aspects. Also, I've heard that soy is very good for weight loss purposes. Personally I like to add soy before workouts since it is a fast absorbtion protein anyways and also directly after my workouts. Then I use whey and whole foods throughout the rest of the day.

Are you sure about the absorbtion part Buff ? I have always thought that whey is the quicker of the two - and by a large margin too !

Personally I very seldom use soy protein, more because it tastes worse than wood shavings.

Just my $0.02

PS. Beefy, imho whovever wrote those articles for testosterone.net has watched 'The Conspiracy Theory' once too many times. Got me thinkin tho ..... that van with the dark tinted windows has been parked outside the whole day ......

Soy is a plant derived source, as opposed to Whey which is an animal derivative. I wouldnt feed soy to my fucking dog, its horrible.

I've read different studies that say soy lowers natural Testosterone levels..........and it contains plant estrogens...
and compounds that mimic estrogen.....

I dont take anything that has soy protein.....

I started on some weight gainer last summer using whole milk. This stuff ran through my system way to quick.Went to the DR. thinking maybe I was lactose intolerant.Tested and said I'm not.Tried a different brand same problem.I was on the toilet no less than 12 times a day.Went to this chiropracter who is very sharp he does accupuncture, accupreassure and applied kinesology. He told me before the exam I'm alergic to milk.I said no been tested already. He's pushing against my arm lying down no go,puts a vile of milk on my chest and CAN push it down.Needless to say switched to soymilk and I my stomach is much happier and my body is using what is going in much better.
