THe amount of protein varies from person to person..... I've seen all kinds of figures thrown out there, but never seen the data to back them up...... MRP's and Protein powders are considered "post-digested", meaning already partially broken down, and therefore, more easily assimilated. You will absorb that rather quickly..... A big old 80 grams of steak protein will take your body a hell of a long time to break down....
So, don't over complicate it... don't get too technical..... Keep your protein intake up and even 6 to 8 meals a day.... 1 to 2 grams per lb of LBM, depending on goals......
I wasn't sure about it... but I heard the same thing. From 1 to 2gr per LBM.
