Hey bro...

Resistance training depletes your glycogen reserves in your muscles. So when you are done working out, you should immediately ingest an abundant amount of insulin that will release simple sugars. This will boost the insulin-carried glucose uptake that your muscles are lacking. This will also leave minimal amount of glucose that will be depositied in your fat cells (adipose tissue).

This is also important when taking createin. Createin uses glucose to as a carrier, since the insulin is going directly to your muscles... this is the perfect time to take your createin.

Even if you're not taking Createin though.. it is still very important to ingest insulin. Your body will store almost all of the glucose in your muscles that are lacking glycogen post-workout.

Hope that helps.

Depends on your genetics and how you use the Creatine. Some people notice major gains, some people notice next to none. It is believed that 20% - 30% don't respond to Creatine. I've had a friend of mine tear his pec on it. So, you have to be careful on it... especially since it can cause major cramping. (My body next to never cramps.. when I started on Creatine... my feet would always cramp up in the middle of the night.. god damn, the pain... had to walk that ish off... or punch the hell out of it to knock the pain out.) 😀 ...

About putting it into your cutting cycle... keep in mind that Creatine will store water in your muscles. A lot of water retention actually...

Maybe someone else could answer this better for you... I'm not totally knowlegable on cutting cycles.

Here's also a good Creatine resource for you:

NC- Ingest Insulin?

I think you mean simple sugars and preferably high-glycemic carbs to maximize insulin secretion

I think NC's brain was just going faster than his fingers..... either that or he's dislexic...... he meant ingest simple sugar and you body will secrete insulin, not ingest insulin and secrete simple sugar......

I have cake and or candy RIGHT after my workout. Creatine made me look like a swolen tick. Then I have my protein shake. Worked for me. I put on 40 pounds this year. 😀

That bloated tick look is probably the water retention of the Creatin.

Congrats on those 40LBS though!!

I tell you what, I respond great to creatine, I ALWAYS use it when coming off a cycle and usually dont lose more than 5 lbs or so when coming off any cycle... I notice improved stamina and strength in as little as three days of taking creatine..

Also as everyone is stating here, its a must to replenish the glycogen after working out....one of the golden rules of bodybuilding is to ingest at least 100gms of simple carbs and 30 grms of protein withing one hour of your workout, the sooner the better......the article I first read that in about 5 years ago quoted a scientific study....not sure where it was or anything...but never the less was a double blind placebo test and the participants gained 25% more muscle than the ones that didnt take in the 100/30 gms post workout..

I usually slam a nlarge2 immediately after my workout (2 scoops/2 cups skim milk = 42 gms protein/89 gms carbs and 460 calories if I remember right) Im sure that grape juice is a better insulin releaser than the carbs in nlarge2 but they will do, plus I usually am starting in on a small food meal right at a hour postworkout.

Its good to take one serving of your refgular supplements at this time since everything is getting shot into your system at a rapid rate anyway, like mentioned above glutamine, and also vitamins, creatine, hmb, ..... Dbol :p

I always mix dextrose with my protein post workout. Great for recovery, really cuts down how sore I am. 40g Pro and 75g carbs for me.
