T3 and my bulk cycle.

hey guys....I was told that a small amount of t3 with a bulk cycle would help me a ton as fare as my eating would go..what do yall think and how much each day??? thanks

Thats the best damn addition I've ever made to a bulking cycle in the past 20+ years!!! I couldn't and still can't believe what a differnce such a small amount of this drug could add to a bulker, especially when most people only think of T3 in terms of cutting. Definately won't run another bulking cycle without adding in 25mcg/day of T3 to it.

why would you even CONSIDER manipulating your thyroid while bulking? you can eat TONS of clean food without gaining alot of fat, you are going to have to put on fat to gain muscle, but if you eat clean (just lots) you will stay relatively lean while bulking.

this is a really bad idea IMO.

No offense but have you tried it? I was the same as you before I tried it, I didn't think it was a good idea on paper, but I gave in and tried it and one cycle with it convinced me otherwise. As for "manipulating the thyroid" you use a very little when bulking, like 25mcg/day for a man, 1/2 that for a woman, your not trying to burn fat with it during a bulking cycle your trying to increase the absorption of nutrients and chemicals your taking it's a know side effect of T3 usage. I don't have the link anymore to the article from the New England Journal of Medicine but there have been many studies done that show T3 helps with the absorption and utilization of steroids, protein and carbs when used at small dosages during a cycle and weight training program. Pros and top amatuers have been doing this for years, some go real high with it to try to burn off fat while building mass but I don't personally like that idea, I think it makes more sense to use it only for the increased nutrient/gear uptake during the bulking cycle, then if you want to burn fat with it use it the conventional way during your cutting cycle. But for the reasons I listed above I believe it works great, for me personally and I've put several people on this addition to their programs and every last one of them raved about it.

T3 is cheap and really not that dangerous at all most of what you hear is internet folklore, I personally know of hundreds if not thousands of athletes who have used it or are using it and I don't know one that did any damage like the horror stories warn of. Some of these athletes are using 250-300mcg/day with no problems. There are risks with any drug, that includes things as simple as aspirin, but for the most part when it comes to T3 as long as you use your head when it comes to dosages and length of time on it you should be just fine. At 25mcg/day you won't have anything to worry about!!!

As for 1st hand experiences with this idea, do a search either here, SE or Anabolex and you'll see many lifters have tried it with success and no problems.

Cutmothafucka- for me it did keep the fat at bay as you say, this isn't what I was trying to get from it, it turned out to be a welcomed side effect of adding the T3 into the cycle. I was up 28lbs in the 1st 5 weeks of my cycle and my waist size WENT DOWN 1.5" without cutting calories. I was eating all the time and still getting leaner. Soon as the shoulder heals up from the 2 recent surgeries I'm going to do another bulker the same way with 25mcg/day added in!!

nice, im toying with this idea for my upcoming bulker.....how long do you run it for at a time? I know how to cycle it if you are using it for fat loss...just wondering how many weeks you run it at this low dose? Im going to be alternating months with slin and IGF LR3 while bulking...so maybe i should run the T3 when I run the slin, and when I run the IGF LR3 stop the T3 for that time? whatchya think?

agreed, i have read alot about using t-3 and spoken with seveal real experianced guys from several different boards, t-3 used at a moderate
dose can do wonders with no problems to the natural thyroid production
like everything else it needs to be respected. i would not recomed using over
50mcg for 6 weeks for newbies(first 1-4) cycles after that you can ramp up
to 100mcg for 6 weeks at a time. i personaly ramp up to 50mcg starting at 12.5mcg and upping it 12,5mcg every 3 days and then back down again at the end of the cycle...

I run it for 3 weeks on and 1 off for the duration of the cycle at 25mcg, no taper up or down at that small a dose. I know guys who run it straight through, but I like the way I do it and it seems to work fine for me.

Please remember though that there is, at least for most people who use T3, a rebound effect of sorts if your not careful when you come off you'll put some fat back on. If you run 2-3 weeks of a fat burner like ECA that should take care of this, or you could just be very careful with your diet/calories for those 2-3 weeks.

I really can't comment on how to do this with Slin or the IGF LR3 I haven't used them before and won't with the Slin, IGF-1 though I will be trying real soon!!!
