The drug ecdisten as tablets is the natural compound ecdisteron was extracted from Rhaponticum carthamoides (Willd.) Jljin. Ecdisten was tested in the treatment of 32 and 3 patients with persistent and acute giardiasis, respectively. A ten-day course of ecdisten, 5 mg 3 or 4 times a day, resulted in a clinical and parasitological recovery in 22 (68.7%) and 3 patients, respectively. After the reuse of a ecdisten course in 4 patients with persistent giardiasis wherein its initial dose was increased, recovery was achieved in 3 cases, the efficacy of the agent was 78.1%. Ecdisten should be used to treat giardiasis, in its chronic pattern or resistance to conventional giardicial agents.

The effects of ecdysterone and the related drug ecdysten on the sexual activity were studied under experimental and clinical conditions. A 10-day administration of ecdysterone (5 and 10 mg/kg, p.o.) improved behavioral characteristics of the sexual function in rats, the effect being especially pronounced during the fist days of experiment. The administration of ecdysten to men with the infertility diagnosis (disturbed spermatogenesis as a complication of some urologic diseases) increased the copulative function and improved the sperm quality. The administration of ecdysten to patients in the stage of recovery upon myocardial infarction also improved the sexual function.

Tried it maybe four years ago for a good 3 month go at it. Seems like I got stronger but hard to say, could have been a placebo effect. Seems like this product would have a hard time surviving the G.I. tract as well as first pass. As an interesting side note to this point though a company called Legal Gear makes a product called Product X Dermasize which does contain ecdysterone's of a couple types. It is a transdermal delivery system which makes this procuct unique. Never used it but worth a try.

oh, if you try to search leauzea seeds on the net, you will come up almost empty, If anyone can shed some light to this sublect id appreciate it.

You should be more concerned about the active compound than these products are standardized for which are ecdysterones and protodiocin. Supposedly it works non-hormonaly in our bodies to increase nitrogen retention. Ecdysterone is a plant hormone found in particular plants/herbs and also a hormone found in some insects.

i see, basically i like to know exactly what a product is/does etc. before i put it in my body. Thats why I asked, thanks for the info though

It works good and is safe, the rushins used it in the 80-90's olympics. I used it for 6 months i put on I think 20-30 lbs, I was 235 naturaly besides the leazea seeds I took no roids, although it does act like a steroid, but you keep all your gains. I went from military pressing 225 for 9 reps to 275 for 9 reps in 6 months time, so thats a good gain i would say. stuff is spendy though thats why i went to anti aging therapy. Its cheaper.

I am looking to buy 1-5lbs of powder 20e leuzea seed now, stuff not only works good they are finding now that over taking it will work as good as turanabol. They are saying the best way to take it is from the leafy greens in a tea, as the Russians did for the 90's Olympics. I am going to school with a girl from Russia and she is going to hook me up. I am going to make a pill thats leuzea tongkat ali tribulus and zink, all in one strong mix, but the zink is going to be low only 5mg per cap. I will let you know when its done and FDA approved.
